Osun will permanently banish, bury the coven of political baboons in the evil forest come 2026 – Accord Party

The Accord party in Osun State, Nigeria has observed with alarm the continued public antics of the All Progressives Congress (APC), whose behavior is increasingly irrational and erratic.

According to a Press statement issued by the party today and signed by its Chairman, Pastor Victor Babalola Akande, the Osun State chapter of Accord has taken due notice of the “venom-spewing,” “intellectually bankrupt” and “historically dishonest tirade” issued by the APC.

The statement further described the recent public communication from the APC chairman, “Sooko Tajudeen Lawal,” as less a “press statement” and more a visible “psychological breakdown” caused by political panic.

The Accord emphasized that the APC’s frantic public posture is a symptom of “unstoppable collapse” and widespread “rejection of the APC project” in Osun State, especially under new governance.

According to the statement, “APC is panicking,” and the party, characterized as a “party of looters,” has witnessed years defined by “hunger,” “deceit” and “organised economic violence” against workers.

Osun State is now experiencing recovery under Governor “Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke,” a turnaround that sharply contrasts the APC years, which were remembered for “malfeasance” and administrative “wickedness.”

The statement described how “roads deliberately abandoned” under the “Gboyega Oyetola led APC government” are now receiving attention, demonstrating the current administration’s commitment to “public infrastructure” improvement.

“Public infrastructure is no longer a mirage,” the Accord statement declared, with governance “returned to the people” instead of being hoarded by a “predatory clique” benefiting from the APC’s mismanagement.

Workers, previously subjected to “intermittent and dehumanising payment of half salaries,” are now experiencing prioritization of “welfare,” “salary consistency,” arrears clearance, and restoration of “dignity to labour” under Governor Adeleke.

It is “cowardice” and “callousness” for the “Gboyega Oyetola faction of the APC,” architects of the “half-salary disaster,” to “dodge responsibility,” deny history, and feign “innocence” before the Osun people.

The statement insisted that “Osun workers know their tormentors” and that “history will not forget” the APC’s misrule, particularly the fiscal and administrative oppression they endured for years.

In healthcare, facilities “once left to rot” under APC indifference have now seen “upgrades,” “improved service delivery,” and “renewed government attention,” winning “back-to-back prized accolades” from reputable global institutions.

Security improvements under Governor Adeleke are also significant, with “strengthened collaboration” and “logistical support” provided to statutory agencies, resulting in “improved calm” and stability across Osun State.

The contrast with APC years, marked by “institutionalised thuggery,” “state-sponsored street violence” and the deployment of “state boys” as instruments of fear, remains sharply instructive to the public.

The statement asserted that only “political baboons” and “intellectual fraudsters” could believe Osun people would ever submit to the APC again, a party whose record demands “political quarantine.”

According to the statement, the APC’s continued attempts to contest elections in Osun are a “tragic hazard of democracy,” highlighting how history might punish such reckless political behavior.

In more “sane” and “morally stringent climes,” a party inflicting “immeasurable pain,” “poverty” and societal “regression” would be formally excommunicated from “political consideration,” the Accord press release emphasized.

The statement further indicated that, “but for Nigeria’s forgiving and easily manipulated political environment,” the APC should have been “banished” and “ceremonially buried in the evil forest” by now.

Desperation displayed by the APC reflects their understanding of the political verdict ahead, according to Accord, a party committed to “responsible governance” and public welfare in Osun State.

“Osun will not relapse!” the statement emphatically declared, affirming that the people “will not return to their abusers” and are aware of the APC’s “historically dishonest” record.

The Accord warned that the year 2026 will “permanently seal the political burial of APC in Osun State,” ensuring voters reject opportunistic and mismanaged political leadership.

No amount of “sponsored hysteria,” “media tantrums” or “revisionist lies” can rescue a “party already rejected by history” and “abandoned by the people,” according to the statement.

The party reiterated that the visible “turnaround” in Osun under Governor Adeleke is undeniable, contrasting sharply with the “chaos,” “immaturity” and “maladministration” of APC’s prior tenure.

The Accord highlighted how public service delivery, road repairs, healthcare improvements, and consistent payment of salaries demonstrate a clear departure from the APC’s “destructive” policies.

“The rage,” “lies” and “incoherent attacks” of the APC are “inevitable symptoms of frustration,” not indicators of political strength or competence, the statement observed, describing their actions as desperate and unconvincing.

Governor Adeleke’s administration has brought “dignity to labour,” restored “consistency in salary payments” and directly addressed “arrears,” unlike the prior APC regime that neglected workers’ welfare deliberately.

The press statement emphasized that even from a distance, Accord leaders have “genuinely astonished” at the visible improvements in governance, infrastructure, security, and health within just three years.

Road construction projects, formerly ignored under APC, are now actively pursued, signaling a “new era” of accountability and responsiveness in public infrastructure development throughout Osun State.

Healthcare upgrades have turned derelict facilities into productive institutions, showcasing “renewed government attention” and attracting recognition from credible global organizations committed to health sector improvement.

In terms of security, Governor Adeleke’s government has implemented proactive strategies, “strengthened collaboration,” and logistical support, producing “improved calm” and curbing the lawlessness associated with APC years.

The statement described APC as a “party of looters” whose historical conduct left the state in “hunger,” “deceit,” and “economic violence” that only the current administration can remedy effectively.

Accord’s message to the people remains firm: reject the APC, recognize the “recovery,” “responsible governance,” and “ethical leadership” now in place, and affirm the commitment to sustained progress in Osun State.

The statement concluded by asserting that political “banishment” and ceremonial “burial in the evil forest” are symbolic measures reflecting the moral judgment due to parties causing “immeasurable pain” to the people.

Finally, Accord affirmed that all efforts by the APC to reclaim influence, including “revisionist lies,” “media tantrums,” or “sponsored hysteria,” are futile against the electorate’s clear understanding of the party’s failures.

The Accord party reiterates that “Osun will not relapse,” and the “APC,” having been “rejected by history” and “abandoned by the people,” faces inevitable political defeat in 2026.
