A three-year-old boy was viciously slapped by a Lagos school teacher. (video)

Outrage has been triggered by a video that shows a teacher in Lagos repeatedly and viciously striking a student.

The boy named Abayomi Michael is shown in the video being instructed to write “six” by the teacher, who is allegedly Stella Nwadigo. The child seems to have trouble writing the word correctly.

The teacher then gives him a forceful slap across the face.

Since the youngster was still having trouble writing and the teacher continued to slap him, it is clear that the slap did not have the desired effect.

The child, who was reportedly three years old, received at least four slaps from the teacher, each one as forceful as the one before it.

According to reports, the event took place at Christ-Mitots School in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
