500 Kogi women and youths are empowered by the Energy Commission DG.

The DAM foundation’s empowerment programs run by Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, the Director General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, have benefited no fewer than 500 young people, both men and women.

The Central Senatorial District of Kogi State’s headquarters, Okene, hosted the event on Saturday.

While hundreds of exercise books were given to pupils to aid in their academics, beneficiaries also received instruction in a variety of professions.

Beneficiaries also received hundreds of empowerment tools to improve their standard of living, including POS machines, welding supplies, construction equipment, umbrellas for market women, and overalls for mechanics.

Speaking during the event, the head of the Energy Commission reaffirmed his commitment to Ebiraland’s growth.

Through the development of our youth, who bear the burden of improving our land, the DAM Foundation is dedicated to the advancement of Ebiraland.

Abdullahi revealed that his organization has had a significant impact on improving the lives of the oppressed while showcasing the several projects he has successfully drawn to the community.

He emphasized how crucial it was to maintain peace and security in the senatorial district, pointing out that this stability was essential to the accomplishment of development initiatives.

His Royal Majesty Dr. Tijani Muhammad Anaje, the Paramount Ruler, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, and other notable figures from the state and federal governments attended the occasion.

In addition to thanking Mustapha for the gestures, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland urged the recipients to use the empowerment kits to improve their quality of life.

The royal father encouraged other prosperous sons and daughters of the kingdom to make investments in the development of human capital, stating that these efforts propel society forward and improve the well-being of its citizens.
