Omar Marmoush has agreed in principle to move to Manchester City.

Negotiations for the 25-year-old Egypt international are anticipated to begin this week, with the German club requesting roughly £67 million (€80 million). As soon as this weekend, an opening bid might be made.

Marmoush is eager to move since he is aware that Pep Guardiola is presently his top objective at City.

The Bundesliga team, which is now in third place in the German top flight, is expected to turn down offers that are much lower than the previously mentioned amount because the forward has no release clause.

A transfer fee between £42 million and £50 million (€50 and €60 million) is deemed more reasonable by City and Marmoush’s team.

Only Harry Kane of Bayern Munich has scored more goals in the Bundesliga this season than Marmoush, who can play any position in the front three.

With 18 goals throughout all competitions this season, he is second only to Mohamed Salah, a striker for Liverpool and a member of his national team, in terms of goal involvements in the top five European leagues.
