Manchester United have confirmed a multi-year agreement with UK-headquartered fintech innovator Sokin, naming the company as the club’s Official Global Business Payment Solutions Partner.
The partnership strengthens United’s commitment to enhancing its worldwide operations through smarter, faster, and more secure business-to-business (B2B) payment systems.
Sokin’s AI-driven global payments platform will be integrated into the club’s commercial infrastructure, enabling seamless cross-border transactions across accounts payable, receivable, and treasury functions.
By automating and optimising international transfers, Sokin’s system aims to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and give United greater control over financial operations with real-time insights. The collaboration is expected to support the club’s relationships with its global network of suppliers, sponsors, and partners across more than 190 countries.
Founded in London, Sokin has built a reputation as a disruptor in the B2B payments sector, offering transparent, cost-effective solutions tailored for global enterprises. Its platform leverages artificial intelligence to streamline high-volume payment flows, while maintaining compliance with stringent international financial regulations.
The company has already partnered with several top-tier European football clubs and recently supported the British & Irish Lions during their 2025 Test series in Australia.

The Sokin partnership is expected to be particularly valuable as Manchester United continues to expand its commercial footprint in key growth markets such as Asia, Africa, and North America, where cross-border transactions form a critical part of the club’s business model.
