A Magistrate Court sitting in Hadejia, Jigawa State, has taken the rare and serious step of ordering the arrest of a Department of State Services (DSS) personnel, Ifeanyi Festus, while directing law enforcement agencies to investigate allegations of misconduct.

Representing the applicant, Kabiru Adamu Esq., together with Babangida Garba Esq., presented the case before the court, urging it to invoke its powers under Sections 125 and 102(5) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL).

That the Department of State Security Service shall immediately release/reunite the victim (Walida Abdulhadi) to her parent.”
