The leadership of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State has directed newly sworn-in local government chairmen to swiftly inaugurate other party officials and commence political activities across their respective councils.
The instruction was issued by the state chairman of the party, Moses Adeyemo, who emphasized the need for the newly elected local leaders to immediately begin strengthening the party’s administrative framework at the grassroots level.
According to him, the move is intended to ensure that the party’s structure becomes fully operational across the state without unnecessary delay.
During the swearing-in exercise held recently, a total of 30 local government party chairmen officially took the oath of office.
