APC e-registration drive has started across Edo State, encouraging all citizens to register and participate in the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) has officially launched its e-registration drive across Edo State, marking a significant step in mobilizing party members ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Governor Monday Okpebholo flagged off the APC e-registration exercise in his hometown of Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area, making him the first official member to be registered in Edo State.
He received his registration card during the ceremony, symbolizing the formal commencement of the exercise.
Speaking during the event, Governor Okpebholo expressed satisfaction with the e-registration initiative, describing it as a simple and effective way for Edo citizens to join the party.
He urged all party members, as well as those interested in joining, to take advantage of the exercise.
“I want to appreciate the APC e-registration team for their hard work. This process is very straightforward for those who meet the necessary requirements, such as having a National Identification Number (NIN) and a voter’s card.
“I encourage all Edo citizens to register and become part of the APC family,” Governor Okpebholo said.
The Governor emphasized that the e-registration can be completed both online and physically at designated polling units, making it accessible for every Edo citizen regardless of location.
He also highlighted the importance of early registration to ensure that the party is well-prepared ahead of the upcoming general elections.
“I am now a fully registered member of APC with my registration card, and I call on every member of the party to register and secure their membership. This is a critical step for all who wish to actively participate in our party’s activities,” he added.
Eugene Osedebamen, the coordinator of the APC e-registration exercise in Esan Central, explained that the initiative is designed to give equal opportunities to all members of the party.
He called on members to proceed to their polling units to complete their registration and ensure their participation in the party’s democratic processes.
“This exercise will guarantee equal rights and opportunities for all APC members in Edo State. We urge everyone to register at their polling units to avoid missing out on this historic membership drive,” Osedebamen said.
The coordinator also thanked Governor Okpebholo for his continuous support and leadership, noting that starting the e-registration in his hometown sends a strong message of unity and commitment to the people of Edo State.
