Abimbola Adekambi currently serves as Chairman of the Ladoke Akintola International Airport Renovation Committee, a project that has attracted attention across the state due to its economic and infrastructural significance.
The airport upgrade is considered one of the major projects under the Makinde administration.
Before joining the current political structure in Oyo State, Adekanmbi served as Commissioner for Finance under the administration of the late former governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
He also worked as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Oyo State Government, a role that strengthened his influence within governance circles.
