Real Madrid is looking to sign Luka Modric to a new deal.
At the end of the current campaign, the experienced midfielder’s contract will expire.
It has been stated that Dinamo Zagreb wants to bring their former star back to Croatia.
However, AS now claims that Modric would rather remain and sign a new deal with Real Madrid for the upcoming campaign.
Modric’s desire to stay at the highest level and his goal of competing in the World Cup in the summer of 2026 are major factors.
In 184 Croatian international games, Modric has scored 27 goals.
