The Jigawa State Police Command is investigating a deeply troubling case involving the death of a man allegedly poisoned by his newlywed wife, an incident that has reignited public debate around Forced marriage and domestic pressure within some communities.
The incident occurred on January 23, 2026, at about 5:00 p.m. in Gauza village, located in Jahun Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
