The Lagos State Police Command has expressed deep sorrow over the Festac DPO Death of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Matilda Ngbaronye, the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Festac Division.
She passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, following surgery at Mayriamville Medical Centre, Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos. Her death has thrown the law enforcement community and residents of Festac into mourning.
Confirming the Festac DPO Death, the Command’s spokesperson, Superintendent of Police Abimbola Adebisi, said Ngbaronye’s passing was a huge blow to the force.
