CDCFIB recruitment CBT requires candidates to log in early, follow exam rules, and avoid malpractice during the AI-proctored exam. Get all the details here.
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued critical instructions to candidates participating in the ongoing CDCFIB recruitment CBT.

All candidates shortlisted for the examination must ensure they log in 30 minutes before their scheduled exam time to complete necessary procedures and avoid missing their session.
This announcement was made by the Secretary to the Board, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril, on Wednesday in Abuja.
Jibril emphasized the importance of punctuality in ensuring a smooth CDCFIB recruitment CBT process.
He stated that the online CBT phase began on Wednesday and would run daily at 9:00 a.m. until the following week.
Only those who have been officially scheduled for the examination will be able to log into the portal.
According to Jibril, candidates are instructed to log into the CDCFIB recruitment CBT portal, which can be accessed at recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
Candidates must log in precisely at the exam window time they selected during registration.
After logging in, they must complete the photo verification process and remain in the virtual waiting room until the exam begins automatically.
“The system will open 30 minutes before the exam time, and candidates must be on time to ensure their participation,” Jibril stated.
“Failure to comply may result in missing the exam.”
The CDCFIB recruitment CBT is designed to be AI-proctored, ensuring that every candidate is monitored for fairness and compliance throughout the test.
Jibril emphasized that the advanced monitoring technology would detect any form of malpractice, third-party interference, or device manipulation.
“The CDCFIB recruitment CBT will be monitored by artificial intelligence during the entire examination,” Jibril added.
“This technology is crucial in ensuring that the process remains fair, transparent, and free from any unauthorized assistance.”
Candidates are advised to use a stable internet connection and a laptop or desktop computer for the best experience.
While mobile phones and tablets are permitted, interruptions such as calls or switching apps will trigger violation alerts. Repeated violations may result in automatic disqualification.
Jibril strongly cautioned candidates about the strict rules and regulations that must be followed during the CDCFIB recruitment CBT.
Any form of cheating or violation would result in immediate penalties, including disqualification.
The system is capable of detecting manipulation of devices or attempts to interfere with the exam process.
“Candidates who attempt to manipulate the system or use external aids will be flagged by the AI system,” Jibril warned.
“The entire recruitment process is designed to ensure that only the most qualified individuals succeed.”
Candidates must familiarize themselves with the guidelines and conduct themselves professionally during the examination.
Jibril also provided reassurance for candidates who might experience temporary technical difficulties during the exam.
In the event of disconnection, candidates will have the opportunity to rejoin within the allotted time and continue their exam from where they left off.
“While we expect minimal interruptions, the CDCFIB recruitment CBT system has been designed to accommodate re-entry if there are temporary disconnections,” Jibril stated.
“However, excessive disruptions or deliberate interruptions could result in penalties.”
The CDCFIB recruitment CBT aims to ensure a fair, merit-based recruitment process across the four paramilitary agencies under the Board, namely the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
By leveraging technology, the Board ensures that all candidates, regardless of location, have an equal opportunity to showcase their skills and qualifications.
“We have adopted this AI-powered system to ensure that recruitment is as transparent and equitable as possible,” Jibril said.
“Our goal is to select only the best and most qualified candidates for the various paramilitary roles.”
In addition to exam guidelines, Jibril also warned candidates about fraudulent activities. The CDCFIB recruitment CBT process is strictly conducted through the official portal.
The Board does not recognize any third-party agents or intermediaries who claim to offer assistance in exchange for a fee.
“Any candidate who engages with unauthorized agents or is involved in fraudulent activity will face immediate disqualification,” Jibril cautioned.
“The CDCFIB recruitment CBT is conducted directly by the Board, and no one else has any involvement.”
Jibril concluded by reiterating that the CDCFIB recruitment CBT marks a significant step toward modernizing Nigeria’s recruitment process for paramilitary agencies.
The system’s use of artificial intelligence not only ensures fairness but also contributes to the Board’s mission of building a more efficient and accountable security sector.
“This recruitment is about more than just filling vacancies,” Jibril said.
