One eyewitness who assisted at the scene recounted: “It was a two-vehicle convoy: a Lexus SUV and a Pajero SUV. Anthony Joshua was seated behind the driver, with another passenger beside him. Another occupant sat beside the driver, making four people in the Lexus at the time of the crash.
“His security team was in the following vehicle. We rushed to help and flagged down other vehicles to assist before officials arrived.”
Tragically, the passengers beside Anthony Joshua and the driver died on the spot. Preliminary reports indicate that both deceased were male British nationals, and their remains have been deposited at the Livewell Morgue in Sagamu.
