If we take one person at a time and assist them, it will go a long way in reducing hardship.

Senator Remi Tinubu, who is the First Lady of Nigeria, has given the citizens of Nigeria the assurance that the administration of President Bola Tinubu is doing everything in its power to work toward bettering the country and the lives of its citizens.

The first delivered a speech on Thursday at the State House in Abuja, at the Iftar, which is a break of fast, which was attended by former First Ladies of Nigeria, female members of the National Assembly, wives of National Assembly members, and other individuals.

In a statement that was released by her media aide, Busola Kukoyi, Senator Remi Tinubu urged everyone to be kind and extend a helping hand to those who are in need, as this will go a long way toward alleviating the difficult circumstances that others are experiencing.

In light of the fact that the month of Ramadan and the season of Lent fell on the same day this year, the First Lady stated that it was something that God had predetermined in advance.

“If we take one person at a time and assist them, it will go a long way in reducing hardship.

“It is the time of sober reflection for our Muslim brothers and sisters and even the Christian brothers and sisters, they are having the Lent. God had ordained it to be so even at this time in a nation.”

She urged Muslims to keep praying for God’s mercy on their country and to continue the good deeds started during Ramadan.

Hajiya Nana Shettima, the wife of the vice president, thanked the first lady for hosting the iftar and asked Nigerians to pray for the president and the nation.

Professor Fatima Mukhtar, v.c. of Azman University, Kano, spoke on the spiritual importance and lessons of Ramadan.
