All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State Chapter, has continued to receive goodwill messages following the inauguration of Local Government Area Coordinators under the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, as political stakeholders within the party welcomed the move as timely and strategic ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Among those who congratulated the newly inaugurated Coordinators is Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo, an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Ibadan North-West/South-West Federal Constituency.
Ogunbayo described the inauguration as a significant boost to grassroots mobilisation efforts in Oyo State and a clear demonstration of the party’s readiness for future electoral contests.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Tuesday, Ogunbayo applauded the leadership of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for strengthening political engagement at the local level.
He noted that effective grassroots structures remain the backbone of electoral success and expressed confidence that the Coordinators would play a vital role in expanding the APC’s reach across wards and polling units.
According to him, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative aligns with the broader objective of deepening party presence within communities and ensuring that government policies and programmes are clearly communicated to the people.
He urged the Coordinators to see their roles as a call to service, stressing the need for discipline, unity, and consistent engagement with constituents.
Ogunbayo also commended the Oyo State Ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, for providing purposeful leadership and setting clear expectations for the newly inaugurated officials.
He described the emphasis on collaboration with existing party structures as critical to maintaining internal harmony and achieving shared political goals.
The House of Representatives aspirant further reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with party leaders, grassroots mobilisers, and stakeholders across Ibadan North-West and South-West to strengthen the APC ahead of 2027.
He noted that inclusive participation and coordinated mobilisation would be essential in consolidating support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party at all levels.

The inauguration ceremony, held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the APC State Secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, brought together party executives, elected officials, stakeholders, and members from across Oyo State.
Speakers at the event charged the Coordinators to mobilise party members and voters, strengthen internal cohesion, and deliver improved electoral outcomes in the 2027 polls.
