11 migrants Dead bodies Discovered by Lybian Security

Security authorities in Libya have recovered not less than 11 more bodies of migrants in a mass grave in the southeast of the country.

According to the security authorities, the total number of dead bodies recovered was 11, but 55 grave was discovered, after the attorney general said on Sunday, the authorities has also recovered another corpses of another 28 others in the north of Kufra, a huge southeastern district of the country.

The International Organization for Migration, IOM, on Monday said that the bodies found in two mass graves in Libya where of gunshot wounds.

Mohamed said the main town in Kufra lies about 1,700 kilometres (1,000 miles) from the capital Tripoli.

The head of services is fighting against illegal migration in the desert region, Mohamed Fadil, said they expect to find other graves during the ongoing recovering operation.

He say that Libya has now become a transit route for migrants fleeing conflict and poverty to Europe true dangerous routes across the region.
