his measure is designed to prevent disruption of essential services while still allowing staff to participate in the celebrations.

The government has emphasized that these activities are not only celebratory but also reflective, aiming to honor the history, traditions, and accomplishments of the state since its creation in 1976.

Officials have further encouraged residents to join in the celebrations and experience firsthand the progress made by Oyo State in governance, education, infrastructure, and social services.

By participating in #OyoStateAt50, citizens and public officers alike are reminded of the collective effort required to sustain development and social cohesion over the decades.

The early office closure aligns with the state’s broader commitment to making the golden jubilee an inclusive and memorable occasion.

Government workers are expected to attend official events, interact with community leaders, and partake in cultural exhibitions that celebrate the rich heritage of Oyo State.

As the countdown to the grand finale of #OyoStateAt50 continues, the state government reiterates its dedication to ensuring that the 50th anniversary celebrations are conducted with enthusiasm, respect for tradition, and widespread participation.
