The Southwest Coordinator of the APC Students’ League and National Secretary of the Congress of Youths in Nigeria (CYN), Comrade Nurudeen Wareez Akolade (HARKOLAD), has congratulated the newly inaugurated Local Government Area (LGA) Coordinators under the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Oyo State.
He described the inauguration as a significant step in strengthening grassroots mobilisation and party cohesion ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement made available to newsmen, HARKOLAD commended the leadership of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for prioritising grassroots engagement and strategic coordination across the state.
According to HARKOLAD, the inauguration of the LGA Coordinators represents a deliberate effort to strengthen party structures at the ward and polling unit levels, which he described as “the backbone of political success in any democratic process.”
He urged the Coordinators to see their appointments not just as political titles but as responsibilities that demand discipline, consistent engagement, and direct interaction with voters at the community level.
“The Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative is a timely intervention that will enhance the APC’s presence across Oyo State.
“This programme ensures that the party remains connected with ordinary citizens, communicates government policies effectively, and strengthens its grassroots base ahead of the 2027 elections,” HARKOLAD said.
He further emphasised the importance of collaboration, reminding the Coordinators that they must complement existing party executives rather than compete with them.
According to him, “Unity within party structures is key. The Coordinators should work hand in hand with local leaders, elders, and party executives to mobilise voters, strengthen cohesion, and ensure the party delivers results in every ward and constituency.”
HARKOLAD also commended the leadership of the Oyo State Ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, for his vision and direction in empowering young leaders and community mobilisers.
He noted that the appointment of active, dedicated Coordinators would ensure that the APC’s policies, achievements, and electoral strategies are communicated effectively to the grassroots.
Speaking on the role of youth in political mobilisation, HARKOLAD highlighted that young leaders like himself and the Renewed Hope Ambassadors play a critical part in energising supporters, canvassing for votes, and maintaining party discipline.
He added that, with the right guidance and resources, youth-led mobilisation efforts could significantly increase the party’s electoral performance in Oyo State.
The Southwest Coordinator of the APC Students’ League also urged the Coordinators to be proactive in monitoring local challenges, providing feedback to party leadership, and promoting government initiatives that improve the welfare of citizens.
He called on them to act as a bridge between the people and political leadership, ensuring that governance and political messaging are transparent and inclusive.
“The 2027 general elections are approaching, and the APC must remain strong at the grassroots.
“Grassroots mobilisation is not merely about gathering crowds or distributing campaign materials—it is about consistent engagement, building trust, and translating policies into tangible benefits for the people.
“The Renewed Hope Ambassadors are now at the forefront of this mission,” HARKOLAD emphasised.
He described their mandate as “a measurable and results-driven responsibility,” urging the Coordinators to set clear performance targets for voter mobilisation and party engagement in their respective areas.
The youth leader concluded by reaffirming his support for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and the APC in Oyo State, pledging to work closely with Coordinators, party executives, and community stakeholders to enhance political participation, deepen public trust, and position the party for a strong showing in 2027.
