Families of the convoy staff of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the late former governor of Ondo State, have made a request to the state government to compensate them with the Daily Travel Allowance (DTA) for the time that they spent protecting the late governor, his family, and properties in Ibadan while he was returning from a medical trip outside of the country.

Five members of the convoy staff, which consisted of roughly 55 men and included drivers, Amotekun, personnel of the Department of State Services (DSS), and policemen, have passed away without getting their allowances, putting their families in a state of sorrow.
