Architect Ahmed Dangiwa, who serves as the Minister for Housing and Urban Development, has stated that Katsina State is fully prepared to back the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dikko Umar Radda.
He argues that their outstanding performances warrant another term in office.
Dangiwa made this assertion to media in Kankia town, Katsina State, after he had cast his vote in the local government elections that had just finished.
He stated that Tinubu and Radda’s accomplishments are unparalleled, which has forced the opposition to turn to jealousy and criticism.
“The people of Katsina State and the entire North will return both President Bola Tinubu and Governor Dikko Radda to power in 2027.
“Despite relentless attacks from the opposition, their people-oriented policies and programs have won the hearts of the people, securing their re-election.
“Even before I left for the polling unit, I called and was informed that people had already turned out at our polling unit.
“After moving around, we observed that people had come out peacefully everywhere to cast their votes.
“They also demonstrated discipline, and it appears that people are satisfied with the work of the local, state, and federal governments due to the various projects carried out for them.
“I want to assure them that Governor Dikko Radda remains committed to granting full autonomy to local governments.
“He firmly believes that allowing them to function independently is not a burden on his administration but rather an opportunity for grassroots development.”
