Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, also known as “Portable,” has been listed as wanted by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly taking part in a violent assault on public servants performing their legitimate duty.

On February 5, 2025, TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi, representatives of the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office, were conducting an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota.

They came across an elderly man who was later identified as Portable’s father at Odogwu Bar in the area, according to a statement issued by the command spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola.

The father told them that his son was not accessible when they identified themselves and asked for the authorized building design.

However, the unarmed authorities were violently attacked by a group of nine thugs commanded by Portable, who was carrying a pistol and other deadly weapons.

After escaping with multiple injuries, the law enforcement personnel reported the event to the Ota Area Command, which then forwarded the matter to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for additional action.

Portable escaped the scene and has since gone into hiding, but nine accomplices were taken into custody. He purposefully disregarded several official invitations to appear at the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, without explanation or legal counsel.

The Ogun State Police Command has a legitimate court order designating him wanted after his persistent evasion.

“Anyone found aiding or harbouring the suspect will face legal consequences.

“For any relevant information, kindly report to the nearest police station or contact the Ogun State Police Command through its official communication channels or police public relations department.”
