The 300 level female student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Precious Goddy Mbakwe has expelled by the school management for assaulting a lecturer.
The main purpose for her expulsion from the school was address in a statement on Friday by the school acting registrar Victor Modebelu, UNIZIK.
On Wednesday, Precious was engaging in a scuffle with one of the lecturers in the theatre arts department, as Mr Chukwudi Okoye, and she was captured in a video
after a disciplinary earing by the school senate, the university’s senate found her guilty of gross misconduct.
The university management said her actions violated regulation 4 of the institution’s Students Disciplinary Regulations, the acting registrar, UNIZIK Victor Modebelu, directed the student to vacate the campus with immediate effect and she should return any university property in her possession also.
Ag Vice Chancellor has also received the report from the Student Disciplinary Committee on the case of her assault on a lecturer.
Ag. Vice Chancellor replied to the committee report on her misconduct, on behalf of the University Senate, I approved the Committee’s recommendation that you will be expelled and you are hereby expelled from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, .
