Just In: Atiku and Obasanjo meets Privately at Obasanjo Residence

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday afternoon in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.

At approximately 12:37 p.m., Atiku arrived at Obasanjo’s residence, which is located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), accompanied by prominent political figures from northern Nigeria, including former governors of Sokoto and Cross Rivers State, Senators Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Liyel Imoke, respectively, as well as other notable figures.

Elder statesman Otunba Oyewole Fasawe welcomed Atiku and his entourage to Obasanjo’s residence, after which they all proceeded straight upstairs for a private meeting with the former President, who had been waiting for their arrival.

However, as at the time this report was filed, specifics of the visit could not be determined.

The meeting was still in progress as of 1pm.
