I led LASU Protest to Gov Office Against Tuition Increase in 2,000-Aare Oladotun Hassan(video)

Following their meeting, the school fee was immediately lowered from 70,000 Naira to 35,000 Naira. The old students' fee was lowered to 25,000 Naira after Aare Oladotun informed Tinubu that the 35,000 Naira was still too much for them and that they could not afford to pay.

Omolola Talks TV, a show that exclusively discusses Yoruba culture, tradition and program that encourages Yoruba youths, both domestically and internationally, to be proud of their culture, speak more Yoruba wherever they are, and spread awareness of how lovely the language and culture is features Aare Oladotun Hassan, a well-known Lawyer, Advocate, and President of Yoruba Council Worldwide, to learn more about Yoruba culture and also his personal life.

It is important to clarify the three areas of expertise that are unrelated to one another as a Lawyer, Advocate, and President of Yoruba Council Worldwide, the host, who is attempting to learn about Oladotun Hassan’s life story, stated.

How did you arrive at the three areas of expertise? What led you to become the Yoruba Council Worldwide President?

One must be able to explain what God has assigned them to do on earth and how to go about it, according to Aare Oladotun.

He began his life like everyone else, attending primary, secondary, and technical training schools. He also attended Lagos State University (LASU) to earn a diploma in law and a degree from the university.

Since his school days, he added, he has been involved in a number of organizations, including the Yoruba Council of Students, the Yoruba Council of Youths. At university level 200, the King proclaimed him the Oluomo of Abule Ado and he also served as President of the NANS. “I established Special Committee of Student Affairs,” he said.

He remembers how, rather than damaging school property when the LASU school fee was raised, he led the students to meet with President Tinubu, who was then the governor of Lagos State. Following their meeting, the school fee was immediately lowered from 70,000 Naira to 35,000 Naira.

The old students’ fee was lowered to 25,000 Naira after Aare Oladotun informed Tinubu that the 35,000 Naira was still too much for them and that they could not afford to pay. He also fought for Students Bursary; the Bursary was increased from 10,000 to 35,000 Naira. It was almost like free Education, he said.

He underlined his support for Tinubu’s election as president and his protests anytime he saw injustice.

For instance, when Southwest and the North had a disagreement and the North group declared they couldn’t bring pepper to Southwest, he told them to retain their pepper if they couldn’t bring it to Southwest.

That is the reason Amoteku was created, he said. “In order to establish agents within our territory, I wrote to Governor Akeredolu and other Southwest governors. The name was Folumo before it was pronounced Amotekun.”

As a lawyer, I would want to ask a topic that most Nigerians would find interesting as well. The country’s laws favor the wealthy over the underprivileged. Is there any hope for the next generation in terms of legislation, regulations, and court rulings?

It’s not always like that; occasionally, the person who doesn’t like a court decision may constantly whine about it. Additionally, some phony witnesses can swear and testify using Bibles and Qurans, giving the impression that they are speaking the truth. Despite the fact that everyone is not created equal, there is still hope for the future of judicial decisions.
