According to reports, a jet was attempting an emergency landing on a Sao Paulo roadway when it collided with a bus.
Around 7.20 a.m. local time (10.20 a.m. UK time), the light aircraft crashed in Barra Funda, in western Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Globo claims that witnesses observed a huge cloud of black smoke and heard an explosion.
According to reports, the aircraft departed the Campo de Marte airport at approximately 7:15 a.m. and headed for Porto Alegre.
The plane tried an emergency street landing five minutes later and collided with the bus.
“Our teams are working on the crash of a twin-engine plane on Av. Marques de Sao Vicente, in Sao Paulo. The Fire Department controlled the flames.
“Teams from the Military Police, Civil Police, and Technical-Scientific Police are also supporting the incident.”
