
The legendary Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid has joined Monterrey.
Ramos, who turns 39 this month, will wear the No. 99 shirt and has signed a one-year contract with Monterrey.
The seasoned defender, who ended his contract with Sevilla last summer, is now a free agent and joins Monterrey.
Ramos will travel to Monterrey alongside fellow Spaniards Oliver Torres and Sergio Canales.
Former La Liga players Lucas Ocampos, Tecatito Corona, and Héctor Moreno are also on the Liga MX team’s roster.
