Wike Begs Nigerians on Tinubu. Consoles Makinde

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, is urging Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies. He acknowledges the current hardships faced by Nigerians but believes the ongoing reforms will yield positive results in the long run .

Wike emphasizes that President Tinubu has the nation’s best interests at heart and that the policies, although challenging, are necessary for long-term growth and stability.

He advises Nigerians not to panic, stating that the country has made significant progress in recent years and that the current policies will ultimately achieve their intended goals .

Wike’s comments come as he led a delegation of former governors and political associates on a condolence visit to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, following the death of his brother.

The Minister who was accompanied by former governors of Abia and Benue states, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and Pastor Samuel Ortom, respectively, commiserated with Governor Makinde, stating that “whatever affects him also affects the G-5 Governors.”Wike emphasized that President Tinubu means well for the country and that Nigerians should expect better days ahead.

He acknowledged the current hardships faced by Nigerians but believes that the ongoing reforms will ultimately achieve their intended goals.”We need to be patient,” Wike said. “The policies being implemented may have some effects, but at the end of the day, we will achieve what we are supposed to achieve. Nobody should panic, because Mr. President means well for the country, and Nigerians should expect better things.”The delegation included Senators Philip Aduda, Mao Ohuabunwa, Olaka Nwogu, Sandy Onor, and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Chibudom Nwuche

.In a related development, a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, and a former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, also paid tribute to the late Sunday Makinde, Governor Makinde’s brother.
