
On Wednesday, the Senate approved Alhaji Ibikunle Bayonle Fatai, an Oyo State member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to join the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB). In the past, Fatai was the Nigerian Lottery Regulatory Commission’s (NLRC) chairman.
During its session in Abuja, the Red Chamber also confirmed two more individuals: Justice Buba Ibrahim Nyaure (retd.) and Ikpeme Kenneth Ndem (Cross River).
The Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct, and Public Petitions, which was chaired by Senator Imasuen Bernards (LP, Edo-South), released its findings after the confirmation.
The nominees were approved for confirmation based on the committee’s report.
