Alphonso Davies, the Bayern Munich left-back, has signed a new five-year deal, putting an end to speculation that he will join Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old’s new contract will keep him at the club until June 2030, ensuring his future with the Bundesliga giants.
Davies, who joined Bayern from the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2019, has won five Bundesliga titles and a Champions League since joining Bayern as a free agent.
He has made 25 appearances this season in all competitions, contributing one goal and three assists.
Bayern leads the Bundesliga by six points and will play Celtic in a two-leg Champions League play-off.
