David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is an Afrobeats superstar who celebrated his colleague Tems after she won the Best African Music Performance category at the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday.

Tems won the Grammy with her hit song Love Me Jeje, which was her second Grammy after she previously won one for her contribution to Future’s number-one single Wait For U.

“Congratulations to my one and only! #chrisbrown! And to the Queen @temsbaby, we are proud of you!” Davido wrote.
The event at Crypto.com Arena, which is hosted by Trevor Noah for the fifth year, honors the biggest breakout stars, number-one singles, and beloved performers of 2024.
Other Nigerian musicians like Burna Boy, Asake, and Wizkid, who collaborated on MMS, as well as Yemi Alade and Davido, who joined Lojay on Chris Brown’s Sensational, posed a serious threat to Tems.
