North-West APC Endorses President Tinubu for 2027, Cites Progress in Security and Development

The North-West zone of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally endorsed President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election, passing a vote of confidence in his leadership and vision for the country.

The endorsement followed a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held on Saturday in Kaduna, bringing together all North-West governors, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Deputy Senate President, and several former governors from the region.

Also present were the APC National Chairman, state chapter chairmen, federal and state lawmakers, ministers, heads of federal agencies, and senior political appointees from the zone.

Reading the communique issued at the end of the meeting, APC North-West Coordinating Governor, Senator Uba Sani, reaffirmed the region’s loyalty to the party and its unwavering support for President Tinubu’s administration.

“We pledge our full support for President Tinubu’s vision to deliver prosperity, equity, and lasting change for all Nigerians,” the communique stated.

The North-West leaders praised Tinubu’s leadership, bold reforms, and dedication to national progress, particularly in the region. “Under his administration, security in the North-West has significantly improved, allowing farmers to return to their fields and communities to regain peace and stability,” said Sani.

The communique highlighted the region’s unprecedented representation at the federal level, with 12 ministers, key positions in the National Assembly, and major security appointments—described as clear signs of inclusion and recognition.

Stakeholders also noted that significant infrastructure projects were either completed or ongoing across the North-West, ushering in a new era of development. They added that the APC continued to grow in strength, unity, and nationwide appeal, driven by public appreciation of the president’s leadership and the performance of APC governors.
