We are giving Comrade Isah 48 hours to apologise to Seyi Tinubu and the Youth Minister for the grievous allegations levelled against them or face a massive protest from various youths.

The South East Youth Stakeholders Council has given Atiku Isah, the factional President of the National Association of Nigerian Students NANS, a 48-hour deadline to publicly apologize for allegedly spreading false information and blackmailing Seyi Tinubu.

IREPORT247NEW had reported that the alleged thugs associated with Seyi Tinubu—the son of President Bola Tinubu—violently interrupted the NANS inauguration event that took place in Abuja, according to Comrade Atiku Isah.

This demand comes after Isah accused Seyi Tinubu and Minister Ayodele Olawande of offering him a N100 million bribe to promote the president, a claim Seyi Tinubu has denied.

Isah said, “At the inauguration hall which I personally paid for at The Wells Carlton Hotel, Asokoro, Seyi Tinubu arrived with a large number of security men and ordered them to stop the event.

“The management of the hotel informed me about the interference, but I decided to go ahead with the inauguration. Immediately after we were inaugurated and Senator Shekarau began his speech, Seyi’s thugs entered the hall wielding guns and cutlasses. They stopped the senator, began stabbing people, and chased others away, snatching phones and valuables in the process.

“Before the day of the inauguration, Seyi had asked the Senior Special Assistant on Students and Youth Affairs to lure me into silence with money. I was told he was ready to offer me a hundred million naira. My refusal to accept the bribe led to the attack yesterday.

“When Seyi’s thugs, led by one Ladoja, came in with machetes and guns, they beat people and injured many. Nigerians should beg Seyi to spare my life.”

On Saturday, the group issued a statement through the chairman of the council, Eric Uwakwe, denouncing Isah’s bid for the NANS presidency as ridiculous and an attempt to discredit the student body.

The council claims that the accusation is an attempt to falsely implicate the first family in allegations of kidnapping, bribery, and intimidation while simultaneously painting Seyi Tinubu as a young man without conscience.

It reads, “The Southeast youths have watched with dismay the shameful theatrics and dance of shame by one Atiku Isah.

“We are giving Comrade Isah 48 hours to apologise to Seyi Tinubu and the Youth Minister for the grievous allegations levelled against them or face a massive protest from various youths.

“We stand in full solidarity with Seyi Tinubu and will resist any attempt to tarnish his image. If this Nazi-styled propaganda is meant to stop him, it’s already too late — that ship has sailed.”
