Manchester United have completed the deal to sign Le Havre sensation Enzo Kana-Biyik, according to reports. The English outfit’s recruitment team has raised a few eyebrows with their decisive moves, convincing Kana-Biyik to leave Le Havre and join their youth setup on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.

Known for his impressive movement and technical ability, the France U18 international has scored nine goals in 15 appearances at youth level this season. His immense potential naturally led to interest from Europe’s biggest clubs, with Le Havre also showing great determination to renew the highly-rated striker’s contract. However, United blew the competition out of the water with their firm and swift approach and secured the green light from the 18-year-old.

Journalist Christopher Michel is reporting that Kana-Biyik has signed a long-term contract at Old Trafford, agreeing to a deal until the summer of 2030 with the option of a further year. Michel adds that the Mancunians beat off competition from Chelsea, AS Monaco, and Paris Saint-Germain to land the exciting forward. PSG, in particular, showed concrete interest as his two brothers are already on their academy books. Kana-Biyik, however, decided to pick a different route to continue his development.

The signing of Kana-Biyik is a significant coup for Manchester United, who have outmaneuvered several top European clubs to secure the youngster’s services. With his impressive goal-scoring record and technical ability, Kana-Biyik is expected to make a significant impact at United’s youth setup.

Interestingly, United could hand PSG further transfer blows in the next few weeks. The Premier League giants have reportedly set their sights on PSG youngsters Axel Tape, Mahamadou Sangare, and Oumar Camara. This potential transfer interest could further strain the relationship between the two clubs.

The deal is a testament to Manchester United’s scouting network and their ability to attract young talent. With Kana-Biyik on board, the Red Devils will be looking to nurture his talent and develop him into a top-class player. As the transfer window heats up, all eyes will be on Manchester United’s recruitment team to see who they target next.
