The Chairman of Agidigbo FM in Nigeria and United Kingdom, Dr Oriyomi Hamzat resumed work today at the Broadcasting House of Agidigbo FM, Ibadan.

Staff members of Agidigbo FM extend a warm greeting to Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat as he returns in dramatic fashion following a leave of absence.
Ireport247news reported on December 19, 2024, that Oyo State police arrested Oriyomi Hamzat, ex-queen Naomi alongside others in connection with the stampede that took place at Islamic High School, Bashorun Ibadan which claimed the lives of 35 children.
The stampede incident which was recorded on 18th of December 2024 at Islamic High School, Ibadan, the event was organized by Wings Foundation and Media partner Agidigbo Fm.
On 13th of January, Olori Naomi Silekunola, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, and Abdulahi Fasasi’s bail applications were granted by an Oyo State High Court in Ibadan which is presided over by Justice K. B. Olawoyin.
Justice K. B. Olawoyin, in his ruling on the bail application filed by the defense counsel, admitted the suspects to bail with a bond of ₦10 million each and two sureties in like sums.
The sureties are required to provide land documents within the court’s jurisdiction.
In addition, they are to deposit their international travel documents with the court and a restriction from granting any form of press interview during the pendency of the case.
The case was adjourned for further hearing until 27th January 2025 by Justice Olawoyin.
