The lawmaker is said to have gone away peacefully while sleeping

Aminu Ibrahim Kasuwar-Daji, who was a member of the Zamfara State House of Assembly and represented the Kaura Namoda South Constituency, passed away recently. As a result, the Zamfara State House of Assembly has been taken into mourning.

According to reports, the lawmaker is said to have gone away peacefully while sleeping in the early hours of Wednesday, April 9.

His passing caused shocked and condolences have been flooding in from friends and constituents alike.

Kasuwar-Daji was described as a leader who was committed, honest, and God-fearing, and who served his people with unshakable commitment by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State. The APC expressed deep grief over the tragic loss of another colleague.

The State Working Committee, executives, and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) paid respect to the late lawmaker in a statement that was published by Yusuf Idris, the party’s Publicity Secretary.

The statement acknowledged the effort that the lawmaker had made both in the state parliament and in service to humanity.

The party expressed its condolences to his family, as well as to the residents of the Kaura Namoda South Constituency and to his fellow members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly.

The Honorable Kasuwar-Daji will be interred at his native town of Kasuwar-Daji, situated in the Kaura Namoda Local Government Area.
