Gospel singers were in one of the two vehicles that crashed, and they died instantly on the spot

A terrible accident that occurred along the Ikorodu/Sagamu Road in Ogun State, has resulted in the deaths of four well-known Nigerian gospel singers.

The victims were identified as Evangelist Ayodeji Kekerejesu, Evangelist Lyanu Joseph, Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin, and Opeyemi Adesina, according to a statement released by Florence Okupe, who is the Commander of Ogun State and the Public Information Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

According to Okupe, the accident took place as a result of a collision between the vehicle that was transporting the gospel singers and another transportation vehicle.

The gospel singers, who were members of the same family, were in one of the two vehicles that crashed, and they died instantly on the spot, according to the official from the FRSC.

In addition to expressing her sympathies to the families of the deceased, Okupe recommended that motorists refrain from exceeding the speed limit.

The tragedy has caused the Nigerian gospel music industry to be in a state of mourning, as the lives of the young singers were cut short at a time when they were at the height of their careers.
