Shakirat Ojo, was allegedly beaten to death by her father and then buried within the surrounding premises.
Kamoru Ojo, a man, has been taken into custody by the Lagos State Police Command on suspicion of murdering his daughter, who was 27 years old, and burying her in a shallow grave within their residence in the Afromedia neighborhood of the Ojo region of the state for unknown reasons.
Zagazola Makama, a security analyst, was informed by sources within the police department that the incident took place on March 26, 2025; nevertheless, it was not reported to the Okokomaiko Police Division until April 3, 2025, at approximately 8:00 a.m.
According to the allegations, the girl, who has been identified as Shakirat Ojo, was allegedly beaten to death by her father at No. 31 Oshinlemo Street, Afromedia, and then buried within the surrounding premises.
After receiving the report, a group of homicide and crime scene investigators went to the residence in question.
Afterwards, the body was exhumed and transported to a public morgue for an autopsy. The scene was documented.
During the course of the inquiry, the suspect has been taken into custody, and the circumstances behind the unfortunate event are still being uncovered.
