A portable power and renewable energy startup, EcoFlow has began its activities in Nigeria towards sustainable energy.

A wide range of individuals, including media professionals, IT enthusiasts, energy experts, and lifestyle influencers, were present at the event that was held at the IT Experience Centre in Lagos.

Isaiah Umoh, who is the business development manager for EcoFlow in Nigeria, stated during the event that, “With energy reliability being a constant challenge in Nigeria, EcoFlow’s solutions are practical, sustainable, and designed to make clean energy accessible to everyone, whether for homes, businesses, or outdoor use.”

In his words, EcoFlow’s entry into the Nigerian market comes at a crucial juncture, when the energy infrastructure of the country is struggling to keep up with the continuously increasing demand.

The fact that more than half of Nigeria’s population is affected by unreliable grid connectivity and frequent power outages, which occur on average 160–180 days per year, has a significant impact on both the day-to-day activities of people and the productivity of businesses.

In many cases, these blackouts result in economic setbacks, the loss of data, and disruptions in work environment. EcoFlow is committed to providing clean, efficient, and accessible energy for all people.

In order to address these challenges, EcoFlow wishes to empower Nigerians with reliable and sustainable energy solutions. This will be accomplished by providing advanced battery-powered alternatives to fuel generators that are noisy and polluting.

EcoFlow has made a long-term commitment to supporting the nation’s energy needs and contributing to a cleaner and more resilient energy future. This launch marks the beginning of that commitment.
