Two men having secret affairs with a married woman met and fought to death.
A man named Kevin Ouma, 37 years old, died in the North East Kadem area of Nyatike sub-county in Migori county, Kenya on Sunday, March 31, 2025, when he got into a battle with another man over married woman which finally resulted in the terrible death.
The circumstances surrounding his death are believed to have been romantic in nature and include a married woman. When the deceased faced another man at the woman’s house, where both of them had supposedly been involved in a secret affair, the incident took place following the confrontation.
As stated by Voshastar Akal, the chief of the area, the individual who passed away was a victim of panga injuries, and Johnson Ochieng, the other man, also suffered from severe panga injuries.
Akal said, “The woman is married, but her husband is away working outside Migori county.
“The two met at the house of a woman with whom they have been unknowingly having secret affairs when the fight ensued.
“The other man sustained serious injuries during the altercation and is currently hospitalised at Migori Level Four Hospital
Initial investigations have shown that the deceased had a date with the woman at her residence on the night of the tragedy day.
After few hours, the other man arrived at the house, and from that point on, a battle broke out between the two of them.
Following the incident, the furious family members of the deceased is reported to have stormed the house of the woman which was the centre of the conflict and set it ablaze.
The 35 years old woman has gone into hiding with her children after the tragic and disgraceful incident.
An investigation into the situation is currently being conducted by the police.The deceased person’s body was transferred to the Migori Level Four Hospital, where it is currently awaiting a postmortem examination.
