Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, met with the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, to discuss the recent killing of travellers in Uromi, Edo State.

On Thursday, a mob intercepted a group of travellers from Kano State, who were on their way to celebrate Sallah.
