UK visa fees -Beginning on April 9, the United Kingdom will begin charging higher fees for visas, which will effect a variety of visa types, including study, visit, sponsorship, and transit visas.

A tourist visa valid for six months will now cost £127, which is an increase of roughly 7% from the previous fee of £115. The price of a visiting visa valid for two years has increased from £432 to £475; the price of a guest visa valid for five years and 10 years has increased to £848 and £1,059, respectively.

There will be an increase of 10% for students and their dependents, with the charge that was previously £490 going up to £524.

Additional changes have been made to the expenses associated with transit visas. Air passengers now pay £39 rather than £35, and land travelers now pay £70 rather than £64.

In addition to visa extensions, skilled worker visas, naturalization, and electronic travel authorizations (ETAs), the increases also apply to naturalization.

Nevertheless, premium services such as fast tracks and premium sponsorships have not altered significantly.

As a part of the larger efforts that the government of the United Kingdom is making to limit immigration levels, the fee adjustments have been implemented.
