Teacher Behead Student – A teacher named Musa Wada, who is 45 years old, has been taken into custody by the Jigawa State Police Command in connection with the gruesome murder of Bashir Adamu, who was 14 years old and attended Almajiri.

According to the Jigawa State Police Command, the suspect is accused of beheading the boy and mutilating his genitals to deceive the public into thinking that the killing was a ritual attack.

Wada was captured by detectives after receiving a tip, according to a statement that was made on Saturday by the spokesperson for the police department, SP Lawan Shiisu. This statement confirmed the arrest.

Shiisu stated that the suspect revealed during the course of the interrogation that Bashir Adamu had passed away when he was being punished for his absence from school.

The statement reads, “On 13/03/2025 at about 1530hrs, one Mal. Musa Wada ‘m’ age 45yrs of Jikas-Dabaja village, Gwaram LGA, was arrested in connection with the gruesome killing of his pupil (Almajiri), one Bashir Adamu.

“Following a tip-off, detectives attached to the Gwaram Division successfully arrested the suspect.

“On interrogation at the State Criminal Investigation Department Dutse, the suspect confessed that, the late Bashir Adamu was his student but refused to come to school; when he questioned him about the reason for his absence, he failed to provide a satisfactory response; as a result, he decided to punish him.

“The suspect confessed that the deceased collapsed and died while serving punishment. To divert attention, he mutilated the body to create the impression that it was a ritual killing.

“He added that the removed head and genital organs were buried in his farmland.

“Upon completion of investigation, the suspect will be arraigned before the court to face the full wrath of the law.”

IREPORT247NEW reported that the headless corpse of a teenager was discovered on the side of the road in Jikas-Dabaja village, which is located in the Gwaram local government area of Jigawa state.

A team of policemen rushed to the scene, and on arrival, they discovered a headless corpse. The corpse also had his private parts removed. The corpse was later identified as that of a 14-year-old Almajiri, who went missing two earlier.
