David Okereke scored the decisive goal as Gaziantep secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

The Nigerian striker struck in the 52nd minute, netting his seventh goal of the season to propel Gaziantep to a crucial win. The victory temporarily lifted Gaziantep to sixth place in the standings with 38 points.

Okereke, who is currently on loan at Gaziantep from Italian Serie B club Cremonense, was replaced with eight minutes remaining in the match. Despite his limited playing time, the 27-year-old has made a significant impact in the Turkish top flight this season.
