The headless corpse of a teenager was discovered on the side of the road in Jikas-Dabaja village, which is located in the Gwaram local government area of Jigawa state.

In another case, Shiisu stated that the police were also looking into the death of a bride who was 22 years old and lived in the Hadejia local government region.
According to Shiisu, the deceased, who has been identified as Zainab Ibrahim, passed away as a result of throat cuts five weeks after her marriage.
He went on to say that the woman was taken to the General Hospital in Hadejia, where she was pronounced dead by a medical doctor who was on call.
