In a scathing Instagram post, controversial singer Portable has called out social media commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) for attempting to involve him in a diss track against gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.

The drama began when VDM announced plans to release a track titled “Body of Christ” in response to Chinwo’s N1.125 billion defamation lawsuit against him. Portable, however, was having none of it.

“Stop talking about me, do not mention my name,” Portable warned VDM. “You defame people, you are among those people who defame celebrities online. You defame rich people, you defame people who carry grace and glory, defame people’s business and marriages.”

Portable also questioned VDM’s financial ability to afford a collaboration, asking if he had N100 million to pay for his verse. “You said that we should sing, do you have N100 million in your account to feature me?” he asked.

The singer’s outburst has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many users weighing in on the issue. While some have praised Portable for standing up to VDM, others have criticized him for being overly sensitive.

The controversy has also raised questions about the ethics of online commentary and the impact of social media on celebrity culture. As the drama continues to unfold, one thing is clear: Portable will not be silenced.
