Israel Olufalae, a Nigerian man, has accused his wife of attempting to poison him to death.
On Friday, January 10, 2025, he posted pictures of his wife and a few objects wrapped in tiny nylon bags in a Facebook group called “Prayer Warriors,” alleging that she attempted to kill him with 17 different toxic poisons.
“My wife bring 17 different poison substance trying to k!ll me. What will I do. Please,” he said.
Some group members responded to the message by telling him to forgive his wife, while others suggested that he should flee for his life.
His accusation of poisoning was questioned by one Lura Mavi, who suggested that the drugs might be charms to increase his love for her.
“Because if it was poison she wouldn’t buy 17 just for one person, especially her husband that she cooks for. Verify the true nature of those substances and make your decision,” Mavi said.
