Chukwunyere Okechukwu Akomas, 27, was sentenced to 14 years in jail by a mobile court in Umuahia, Abia State, for the defiance of two youngsters, ages 8 and 11.
On January 10, 2025, a Friday, Akomas was sentenced.
Akomas was found guilty on both counts by the court and given concurrent sentences of 14 years in jail for each count.
This was revealed on Friday evening by a human rights advocate and coordinator for the Abia State chapter of the Behind Bar Foundation.
