Chelsea are clear favourites to win the Conference League and are now well placed to move into the quarter finals after a 2-1 win away at Copenhagen in the first leg.
After a slow first half with Enzo Maresca’s side having no shot on target, they quickly improved after the break, Reece James gave them the lead within a minute of the restart through a low strike in to the net
A second goal came some minutes late when Tyrique George’s cut back was sidebfooted into the net by substitute Enzo Fernandez.
But Copenhagen kept the game alive as Gabriel Pereira’s powerful header gave them some hope back. but they will be going into next week’s second leg in London.
