An NGO headed by Larry Omodia, the founder of African Television, has filed a new lawsuit asking police to look into the deaths of Olawunmi, the late Nigerian musician Mohbad’s wife, his brother Adura Aloba, and his close friend Damola.
A TikTok exchange that purports to provide insight into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s unexplained death is cited in the petition.
Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba, passed away on September 24, 2023, a tragic event that left a deep void in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
The Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi’s TikTok talk, according to the NGO, may include important information about Mohbad’s passing.
It has demanded in-depth forensic examinations of the culpable individuals’ communication equipment.
